La Luz Centro Cultural is a non-profit based in Hampton, IA that serves the Latine community in North Central Iowa. Our mission is to promote cultural awareness and diversity with hospitality and supportive services for all. We accomplish this through our cultural events, bilingual children's programs, adult English classes, supportive case management for survivors of crimes, immigration services, and general social service navigation. La Luz Centro Cultural was initiated in 2013 by the Sisters of the Presentation of the Blessed Virgin Mary (PBVM) and transitioned to community-based leadership in 2018.  As we enter our 10th year as an organization, we continue to grow and respond to the diverse desires and needs of our community.
